A variable fuel surcharge may be applied to all services. This is reviewed weekly and based on the UK Government’s published average price for Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel (ULSD):

A base rate of [130.00 per litre] applies.
If fuel prices fall below this level, no surcharge is applied.
If prices exceed this level, a surcharge will be added as per the table below.
The surcharge is applied to the booking charge and will be shown separately on invoices.
The table above is based on UK average weekly diesel prices. A one week lag may apply due to the official publication schedule of fuel data by the Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy report.

Q. Why are Onit Logistics Ltd applying a fuel surcharge?
A. For some time now, we have been absorbing the increased cost of fuel and higher cost of living, however, due to continuing fluctuations in fuel prices, we are implementing a fuel surcharge to ensure that we maintain service quality and correctly remunerate our couriers during this unprecedented cost of living increase. Our aim is to keep the surcharges fair and transparent. Put simply, fuel surcharges will rise & fall, subject to a minimum charge of 2%/£5.75, in line with the weekly movement of pump fuel prices.
Q. How will I be informed about adjustments to the fuel surcharges?
A. The fuel surcharges will be reviewed weekly in line with the change in diesel prices, this will be updated and viewable on our website. We recommend that you regularly check our website for any updates.
Q. Why is there a different mechanism for Time Critical Services and Logistics services
A. To maintain a balanced approach that correctly and fairly reflects the increase in costs on specific service types we have taken the approach to implement a variable approach to Time Critical same day customers and a fixed price increase on Logistics Service runs.
